POSITION SUMMARY
As a Web Support Specialist you will provide technical support to our corporate
eCommerce web site and other intranet web systems. You will be involved in web
system administration, infrastructure implementation, troubleshooting complex
network issues, troubleshooting application problems, installing software
releases and fixes to production web site, as well as providing support for
daily web operation and content publishing.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS
• 3 years of IS experience in a system administration role.
• 3 years of experience in implementing and maintaining eCommerce web site.
• 3 years of experience with both Windows and Unix platforms.
• Working experience with SQL Server, Oracle, IIS, Apache, Oracle Application
Server, and Commerce Server.
• Organized, methodical and process oriented
• Team player
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and documentation skills
Assets:
• Software development experience.
• Experience with Cisco routers and Layer 4-7 switches
• Web Content Change Management
• Visual Basic, Java, Perl scripting
• ASP, COM+, XML, EDI, HTML, LDAP
• MCSE certifications, MCDBA certification
• MS Cluster Server and web load balancing technology
• Retail Industry experience
• Web reporting experience with software such as Web Trends Experience with
software testing tool
• Experience with software testing tool.
