POSITION SUMMARY An experienced Technical Business Analyst is required immediately to work closely with the Account Manager, Business Clients and Technical Development team. As a liaison translating business requirements into specification documents your technical writing ability and communication skills, along with your solid understanding and exposure to project management methodologies, tools and lifecycles within a retail business environment, make you the ideal candidate for this exciting new opportunity. Your main responsibility is to work as a business - technical communication link between the various parties of one or more specified projects ensuring the technical development and implementation from teams for requirements as detailed by the Business Clients and Account Manager. As well, your ability to understand the Clients’ business goals, develop logical information flows and processes, and to construct detailed execution plans will be essential to the success of this role. On an ongoing basis you will be communicating project status, risks and accomplishments to involved parties ensuring changes as required, new resources and/or release of resources. This role is critical to Siberra and as such we are looking for a professional, dedicated, capable, and experienced person. Using excellent technical, communication, requirement gathering, follow-through, co-ordination, and project management skills, you will insure that business objectives are met and clients are highly satisfied with their relationship with Siberra. Occasional travel will be required. As a subsidiary of Best Buy Canada Ltd., Siberra will leverage the experience and values of Best Buy Canada Ltd. Best Buy Canada Ltd. has extensive experience in retailing consumer electronics products to the consumer and is currently focused on expanding both product breadth and market penetration in Canada and abroad. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS · 5 – 7 years work experience as a Technical BA · 2+ years exposure and/or experience with Project Management · 2+ years exposure and/or experience with software development lifecycles and processes Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and listening · Able to analyze the business implications of the application technology in the current and future business environments · Able to produce reports and business correspondence for both internal and external communication · Technically competent with digital image and photofinishing technologies, or be able to learn them quickly · Able to specify logical information flow, processes, data objects and dialogues · Able to produce technical and descriptive documentation · Able to develop plans and specifications for business systems design

throughout the project life cycle ASSETS · Project management experience is an asset · Experience in digital imaging technology or ecommerce is an asset · Experience in the retail industry or the photo finishing industry is an asset · Experience in the software / IT industry is an asset · High proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Project. · Completion of undergraduate degree in technology or business. An MBA is an asset.
